Dan works in marketing for Kraft on the Macaroni & Cheese brand. He moved to Chicago following graduation in May 2006. While attending graduate school, Dan was responsible for planning
and executing the brand strategy of Bloomington Brands' clients. He majored in marketing at the
Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and served as a co-chair of the Kelley Cares Organization. He was a member
of the Consumer Marketing Academy, the Kelley Marketing Club, and Kelley Ambassadors.
During the summer of 2005, Dan interned at Kraft Foods in Chicago, IL as a summer associate on the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese
(Blue Box) brand. He led the 2006 CRM strategy for a new product launch to maximize exposure in Food & Family Magazine,
Kraftfoods.com and other vehicles. In addition, Dan developed a club pack for BJ club stores and led a creative strategy
development of a display unit for the new product. He also led the creative strategy development for Kraft Macaroni &
Cheese licensing opportunities to maximize exposure in non-food channels. This initiative will build Kraft Macaroni &
Cheese as an iconic brand and help build brand impressions via alternative channels. Dan also assessed the Macaroni &
Cheese category competitive landscape. This included identifying performance vs. expectations via Nielsen, identifying
issues, implications, and recommendations to address the future challenges. Finally, Dan had to work on weekly / monthly
Nielsen numbers and present the analysis to the category team.
Prior to attending Kelley, Dan received his BS in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University and worked for
Accenture as an IT / Business Process consultant in Chicago.

Maalvika is employed by Hasboro in Boston where she works on the Star Wars brand. She graduated from IU's Kelley School of Business in May 2006. She was a marketing major at Indiana and served as a co-chair of the Kelley Marketing Council. She was also a member of
the Consumer Marketing Academy, the Student Admissions Council, the Kelley Marketing Club and Graduate Women in Business.
During the summer of 2005, Maalvika remained with Bloomington Brands for her internship and managed Osmocote’s label re-stage
project. The redesigned bottles appeared on store shelves in early 2006. On this project, Maalvika worked closely with Coleman Brandworx (NYC) on the label design. These labels subsequently won a design award. Maalvika’s other projects included
the layout of the Osmocote’s page to be included in Scott’s trade catalog, working with Bloomington Brands’ advertising agency on
several creative projects and developing marketing plans for the upcoming year.
Prior to attending Kelley, Maalvika worked as a Marketing Knowledge Manager at Arthur Andersen LLP, and most recently as a
Marketing Database Specialist at Goodwin Procter, LLP in Boston, MA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Ball
State University.

Pooja accepted a marketing position at Mead Johnson (Bristol Myers) and moved to Evansville, Indiana, following graduation in May 2006. While at Kelley, she worked as a marketing associate for Bloomington Brands.
At Kelley, Pooja was a faculty-selected member of the Consumer Marketing Academy, a student selected member of the
Kelley Ambassadors and a career coach.
During the summer of 2005, she interned at Mead Johnson Nutritionals, a subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb. During her
internship, Pooja evaluated, developed and executed various marketing programs for the sales force.
Prior to attending
Kelley Pooja worked as Research Analyst at Synovate India Ltd, Delhi, India. At Synovate she led teams of 5-30 people for
projects including segmentation studies, market mapping exercises, product tests and pack tests for consumer goods companies. She also has experience working as a Marketing Associate with Raksha Builders Pvt. Ltd. where she assisted the Managing Director on a part-time basis with the planning and organizing of marketing initiatives such as direct mail campaigns and participation in trade shows to drive sales growth. Pooja graduated from Thames Valley University, Delhi, India in 2000 and then completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operations from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, India in 2002.

Kristin lives in Minneapolis where she works at Target. She completed the requirments for her MBA in May 2006.
She was the finance associate for Bloomington Brands while at Indiana Univeristy. She led the planning and analysis of the Osmocote brand budget - approximately three quarters of a million dollars. She also managed the books and paid vendor invoices for the legal entity, Bloomington Brands LLC. Kristin directly participated in the marketing of the Osmocote brand as well with projects in market
research, brand positioning, sales, distribution and advertising media planning.
At Kelley, was the Orientation Chair for
the Class of 2007, a Career Coach for the Class of 2007, and is a member of the Corporate Finance Academy. Kristin also
holds a graduate assistantship in the Marketing Department, serves as Professional Development Chair for the Strategic
Leadership Club and is a member of the Kelley Ambassadors program, the Finance Guild and the Kelley Association of
Women MBAs.
During the summer of 2005, Kristin interned at SC Johnson in Racine, Wisconsin. Her project was in the Home Cleaning
Division, analyzing all products with starter and refill streams. She developed volume and profitability forecasting
models for these products as well as completing an analysis of a product’s first year in market, making recommendations
on advertising and promotional spending for the next several years. Kristin also assisted in profitability, pricing and
volume projections for a new product, expected to generate $350 million in revenues and created a training program for
new managers to help them understand the complexities of the starter and refill product.
Prior to coming to Kelley, Kristin received her BBA from the University of Notre Dame with majors in finance and
computer applications. She worked at Ford Motor Company for 3 years, in the Treasurer’s Office and the Product Development
group, where she worked on the Lincoln LS and the Ford Thunderbird.

Jeff works at Eli Lilly and lives in Indianapolis. He graduated with an MBA degree from IU in May 2006.
While at Kelley, he served as a marketing associate with Bloomington Brands. Jeff was responsible for supporting the planning
and execution of the Osmocote brand strategy.
He also handled the recruiting of the class of 2007, and in fact, he designed this web site.
Jeff majored in Marketing at the Kelley School. While at Kelley, Jeff
was a faculty-selected member of the Consumer Marketing Academy and the Student Admissions Council. Additionally, Jeff
served as a Kelley Ambassador.
During the summer of 2005, Jeff interned with Eli Lilly & Company in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he worked on the Osteoporosis Global Marketing Team.
Prior to attending Kelley, Jeff worked for Philip Morris USA as a Unit Manager in field sales. Jeff earned his undergraduate degree from the Kelley School of Business in May of 2000.
