Kelly Roses is a second-year marketing student at the Kelley School of Business MBA Program.
Before returning to business school, Kelly worked as a Category Manager for Beiersdorf Inc., a health and beauty company with the well-known brands of Nivea and Eucerin in Wilton, CT. In that role, she advised Target, Wal-mart, CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid in the category of men’s grooming to drive growth for Nivea for Men and the individual retailer’s categories. Kelly has also held market research and category management roles at Georgia Pacific and Information Resources.
Outside of Bloomington Brands, Kelly is a faculty-selected member of the Consumer Marketing Academy and is an active member of the Kelley Association of Women MBA’s, serving as co-chairperson of the KAWMBA Experience Weekend program.
Kelly is also MBAA External Relations Vice President, in this role, Kelly works closely with Alumni and other graduate programs on campus to diversify the Kelley student experience. In addition, Kelly serves as a graduate assistant for the undergraduate marketing department.
Most recently Kelly interned at Colgate-Palmolive in New York where she was a Brand Management Intern on Softsoap® Body Wash. Kelly’s internship in-between the two years of business school has allowed her to grow her analytical, project management and creative skills.
Kelly received a bachelor’s degree at the University of Albany, majoring in Business Administration (Finance and Marketing). Upon graduation from Kelley in May of 2010, Kelly intends to continue on the career path of brand management.
