Position Qualifications:

We are seeking incoming senior undergrads in the Kelley School of Business who will become key contributors to our Osmocote brand team. Associate Brand Managers will be expected to have an interest in consumer packaged goods. They will participate in the planning, execution, and analysis of market research, brand repositioning, sales, distribution, finance, and advertising. The internship includes participation in projects such as label redesign, garden club partnerships, a Master Gardener public relations program and a new rebate program.

Individuals must have strong interpersonal skills, creativity and leadership skills. You will be required to take accountability for your individual projects and be able to deliver them on time at a high level of workmanship. This will require maturity, attention to detail, passion and ambition. This role will be a 12 week, full-time paid position during the summer months as any regular internship.

The Bloomington Brands marketing associates will have the opportunity to work on relevant projects that will add Brand Management to your resume. The projects you will work on will not only help the profitability of Osmocote, but also give you real world, real time experience that you cannot gain in the classroom. The internship will give you experience on a brand that is part of the Scotts Miracle-Gro company. You will have a high level of interaction with members of Scotts marketing teams and support functions like finance operations. You will be required to travel to Scotts headquarters in Marysville, Ohio at least once during the summer and possibly more if need requires.
